    Hi i have a t8 aml v3s and every time i load kodi it tries to load up then goes back to start menu . It takes at least 3 attempts before kodi stays on. Is this a issue

      Hello James, it could be one of 2 things :
      1. If using an air mouse such as the S77 Pro Remote, you are advised to disable the air mouse function before attemping to enter the Kodi app.
      2. You may of incurred too much data in your Kodi app or there is corruption so simply clear the data in Kodi.

    i purchased the h5 about 3 weeks ago was working great now i keep having buffering issues on kodi spmc and my streaming apps. my internet speed has not changed. also when i turn my box off i dont think it is turning off fully. also half the time when i click on an app it goes into it and then kicks me back out again. i have clean master and use it reguarly. trying to watch something has become a chore.

      Hello, you seem to be having some internet issues there so ensure that your device is close enough to the router and check your device’s storage. If the storage is nearly maximised, this can cause issues like apps kicking you out.

      Hello Mark, you should be able download, install, login then stream. Make sure that your internet blocker are disabled aswell because they may prevent the app from working properly.

    Hello i purchased aT8-AML-V3-S from you i have had it for a week now twice it has made crackling sound and the screen has gone off cannot get back onto home screen unless i switch the box off with the power button worried it may be a faulty box would be grateful if you could reply

    I have an Android TV box and wish to upgrade to your latest and greatest and I’ve been recommended to use a VPN. So I’ve set up with ipvanish.

    I managed to set it up on my Mac so I can stream via Kodi links that do not work on my Android TV box. However what would I do on the Android TV and more importantly on your M8 box if I wanted to use Kodi via the VPN. Do I need to download and install anything?

    Google Play is not displaying on my current Android TV it just hangs. So I’ve not been able to access any ipvanish applications on my Android TV although I was able to see it and download the app via the Chrome browser.

    I’m hoping all these problems disappear when I upgrade!

      Hello Nigel, yes you will be able to download VPN software/apps by using the app stores available and you can find most of the good ones on search engines such as Google.

      Hello Debbie, you can delete old downloads by using apps such as File Browser and/or File Manager to access your downloads folder and then you will have the option to move or delete any files.

    Hi. I have a T8-AML-V3 but can’t watch anything on Kodi…I click on the large Kodi icon on main screen and the usual menu screen loads ok but anything I click on after that makes it revert back to main screen again…I’ve cleared cache and storage on all apps, force stopped Kodi and re-started it again but this hasn’t resolved the problem…any help would be appreciated please.

      Hello, you may have too much data incurred in your Kodi app so clear the data (not only the cache) and kodi will be fine again.

    Good morning,I seem to have an annoying TIME problem with the T8 V3.
    Everyday the time resets back to 1008 for no reason.
    The current local time is set through (Other Settings) and also through (Systems/International).
    Yesterday I updated the latest ROM software through OTA Updater.
    During the night the TIME reverted back 1008.
    I’m baffled why this glitch is happening on a daily basis.
    Any suggestions?
    Note,I never experienced this with the V2.

      Hello Douglas, we have tested the T8 V3 with this query and found that the only way this device keeps it time is by having a continuous connection to the internet and having your date and time set to automatic as it does not contain a battery. When you first boot your device up you may notice that your time has re-setted to 10:00 but be patient… Once it has established a connection to the internet it will set its time again moments after.

    Hi, i just installed a seagate solid state hard drive in my t8 aml v3s and it doesn’t seem to recognize it. Will the t8 read a solid state drive? Do i need to format the drive or do something else? I couldn’t find any help videos on installing a hard drive. Hope you can help me. Thanks.

      Hello Paul, most new hard drives come already formatted but you could reformat to FAT32 and then access the files on your hard drive via apps such as ‘File Manager’.

    Received unit today (T8-AML-V3) do you have to have the net work cable connected to the unit or can you use a wireless adapter into one of the USB sockets on the unit?

      Hello Mr simmons, you can optionally use the ethernet cable or the WIFI to connect to the internet. There would not be a need of using a wireless adapter in the usb socket.

      Hello Martin, I suspect that you may be using an older version of XBMC/SPMC from the issues reported. If that is the case, please uninstall your current XBMC software and download the current version of Kodi HERE.

    I recently purchased the T8-VML-V3s but on the android box itself it has printed T8-VML-V3. Have I been sent the V3 instead of V3s or do the new boxes just have a different firmware but without V3s printed on the android box ?

      Hello Colin, the best way to tell if you have a V3s is if you look underneath the actual device itself and it should state T8-AML-V3S. If it states different, please contact support and we will assist you further.

    I have just purchased a T8-AML-V3S everything seems to run fine but whatever I’m watching there seems to be a problem with the sound intermittent, also I noticed when it reboots the sound is stuttering when it announces Entertainment Box. I have tried exchanging the HDMI cable but it is still the same.

      Hi Darrell, you could try a factory reset, Settings-More settings- Backup and reset.
      Or you could open up the OTA firmware app and download the latest Firmware update available.

    I’ve just received my um8 and when i install unlocker 7.1 from within wookie isengard pull power plug and then try to start wookie. It won’t start. It just keeps going back to app screen.

    Hi there,
    I have had the t8-aml-v3 delivered this evening. thanks for the speedy delivery!
    I have it all connected except the keyboard as not enough usb on TV. TV is a panasonic smart tv but we wanted more channels and it player etc.
    I’m unsure if I’m doing something daft, but I can download some apps but don’t know where they are shown? ie they go on my home page on my phone. Also, the entertainment box screen looks like a screenshot and is not interactive. I can put my passwords onto the screen but then cannot accept and open g mail etc?
    I’m worried about this purchase?
    Please help!
    Ps I’m usually it savvy!

    I have a T8 box v2, the box was perfect last night ,this morning the sound is intermittent. I have been on a web forum and there was a comment about using this box on a Panasonic Vierra tv, you had a video on a solution for this problem

      Hi, you could try to change the HDMI cable or re flash your device with the latest firmware. If that still did not fix you issue contact your supplier if its EntertainmentBox use the contact us tab. It’s strange that is was fine now its not.

    Hi I bought T8-AML-V3 from yourselfs and have tried everthing and cant get it to connected. I have had 2 boxes from yourselfs and got them working no problems is this a faulty box that needs to be sent back or am I doing something wrong. it keeps coming up cant retrieve directory imformation.
