YouTubers raised $ 20 million in just 55 days!

It's rare to see YouTubers use their great power of influence for something selfless, and even rarer to see a "TeamTrees" campaign. However, MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) has become almost a legend by constantly donating thousands and thousands of dollars in his videos.

However, his biggest project ever was announced in late October. In partnership with Mark Rober, they started the TeamTrees fundraising campaign, which aimed to raise $ 20 million by the end of the year, which seemed impossible to achieve.

TeamTrees 20 Million

But to everyone's surprise, with more than half a million participants, they managed to surpass $ 20 million in just 55 days!

#TeamTrees was backed by top gaming and tech personalities

As you might expect, this campaign quickly went viral and, thanks to its main objective, managed to grab the attention of big public figures and renowned companies.

Having received $ 1 million from Elon Musk, the campaign experienced unthinkable growth, with several personalities donating incredible amounts of money. Top names include Susan Wojcicki (YouTube CEO), Tobias Lutke (Shopify CEO), Jack Dorsey (Twitter CEO) and Tyler Belvin (Ninja) as well as PewDiePie.

I recall that this campaign promises to plant one tree for every dollar raised, totaling more than 20 million trees. By the time this article was published, the campaign is already $ 20,414,807 and will remain active until the end of the year.
