In a world where manufacturers increasingly personalize Android with their personal touch, launchers continue to be used.
These are apps that change your device's home screen and can then be customized to your liking. Microsoft Launcher for Android is one of them.

As we know Microsoft has given up on Windows Phone for now but it "survives" somewhat in this launcher. It is about to receive an interesting update according to PhoneArena.
Microsoft Rewards will reward you for using the app and completing tasks.
First, the Microsoft Rewards system will give you access to "daily cards" containing tasks and the rewards you can earn.
Secondly, extended pressure shortcuts will be available even when the homescreen is locked. A contact option to send feedback in the settings also exists.
Thirdly, Microsoft Launcher will have the same font size as the system, which helps to improve the aesthetics of the application. The update will also bring application folders smaller than the device screen for easy one-handed use.
But what kind of rewards are we talking about?
This is not the first time Microsoft has tried to encourage the use of its reward products. There is the Bing Rewards system and incentive programs to use the Edge browser.
The rewards themselves for the launcher have not been detailed but should be things like free storage on OneDrive, for example. There is also a point system where Microsoft literally pays to use Bing and Edge. Google has something like Google Opinion Rewards. Unfortunately, these systems are not available in UK.
In short, in a world technologically dominated by Google and Apple, Microsoft must use these tactics to win users across its platforms.
