Realme recently revealed that it would be demonstrating its first 64 megapixel camera smartphone on August 8th. But, as expected, Xiaomi decided to move ahead of its rival by scheduling a new event the day before.
It was confirmed through the Chinese social network Weibo that its first 64MP camera smartphone will be presented on August 7th.
What do we know about this innovative Redmi smartphone?
Strange as it may seem, we know little or nothing about this mysterious smartphone. In fact, we don't even know if they will actually introduce the new smartphone next Wednesday, or if they will just demonstrate the new technology. It would not be surprising if they just wanted to get ahead of Realme.
I recall that the leaker Ice Universe recently revealed that the 64MP camera Redmi smartphone would only be presented later this month.
Still, the only confirmed information about this smartphone is the presence of a total of four rear cameras, the main one being 64 megapixels. The sensor used will be the Samsung Bright GW1, which allegedly can capture amazing photos in the most varied conditions.
This new technology can capture 16 megapixel photos in low light environments, while in good light it reaches the anticipated 64 megapixels.
Another of the most talked about capabilities of this sensor is being able to record Full HD video at 480fps. If so, it will surely allow you to record brutal super slow motion videos.
Finally, there was also talk of the impressive autofocus capabilities. The autofocus on this smartphone should deliver speeds far above average thanks to Samsung's new Super PD technology.
