The Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro has been officially unveiled by Xiaomi and is now available for purchase for under € 300. The new Asian brand equipment not a high end, however, gives us a new processor that promises to surprise. Is very!
The Helio G90T is intended for equipment with a focus on gaming and performance. The choice of this processor was not the most popular (due to MediaTek's bad track record in upgrades), yet the smartphone surprises in its performance.
AnTuTu Benchmark score of 282,443 points surprises
However, with a score above 280,000 points, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro is one of the most powerful (non-high end) smartphones in the benchmark table. The smartphone can deliver great performance without having to pull too much on the wallet.
The CPU alone achieved 96,000 points, but with the combination of GPU and user experience, the score goes up considerably. This means that not only is the processor powerful, but everything else is done for performance.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 8 Pro is a performance thinking smartphone
In short, this is a mobile phone thinking about performance and little more. Especially because it does not offer us an OLED screen or a biometric sensor on the screen.
Still, it's worth remembering that this is the first device with a 64MP camera. We still do not know to what extent these megapixels will seriously influence photography, however it is expected that the detail but photographs will be greater.
For this price, unfortunately, there are better ones!
But it is worth noting that for this price you can buy better equipment. An example of this is the Xiaomi Mi 9 which is on sale for just over 300 €. It's a half dozen more euros that will give you a real high end. You may not have a 64MP camera but I don't think you'll be dissatisfied with the Mi 9.
