Its quality coupled with a very reasonable price gets fans from Asian to Western markets, whether it's easier or harder to get your hands on a copy. So, starting with the processor, this year's discussion goes to two Qualcomm mid-range processors, the Snapdragon 660 and 630. Between them, the best option will undoubtedly be the last, and this is the most powerful of all. both, benefiting from the performance of Kryo cores and a better GPU.
Still, it's not to be discouraged that the Snapdragon 630 offers very close performance, managing to outperform its "brother" when it comes to power management. This is because both processors are manufactured in a 14nm architecture, with the advantage that the 630 is more focused on better energy management.
Another concern seems to be the thickness of the terminal. Xiaomi will want its new Redmi Note 5 with a thickness of only 7.5mm, thus sacrificing the battery, which should have a capacity of 3790 mAh, against the 4100 mAh of the Redmi Note 4 predecessor. To compensate, this terminal will support QuickCharge. 3.0, via USB-C input.
Whether with the Snapdragon 660 or 630, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will be right for performance and energy savings.
When it comes to cameras, it won't look bad on the brink of competition. In your favor will be a Sony IMX 234 rear photo sensor with 16MP resolution and an f / 2.0 aperture. Already the camera selfies not far behind, this being a 13MP sensor.
According to these rumors, the new mid-range from Xiaomi will still be entitled to three different versions of memory and price. The first brings 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal memory, marking a price of CNY 1,200 (€ 155), while the 4GB + 32GB version amounts to CNY 1,400 (€ 180). Finally, the most expensive version is the 4GB + 64GB version which will have a price of CNY 1,500 (€ 195).
