Rumors abound around a new Xiaomi smartphone. The Chinese company has already got us used to constant releases, and the next one promises to bring the same Mi MIX Alpha camera with a price that can be around 400 euros.
The latest information points to Xiaomi launching a Pro version of Mi CC9 in China. The future name in Europe may be Xiaomi Mi Note 10, but for now it is not certain. The big focus will be on its alleged 108 megapixel camera.
The reputed leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore (@ sudhanshu1414) shared a spec list for the mysterious smartphone. The 108 megapixel camera stands out, which corresponds to what has been written about the alleged Mi CC9 Pro.
Judging from the spec list, let's have a conservative design. An AMOLED screen with notch water drop, plus built-in fingerprint sensor. Leading operations will be the Snapdragon 730 – the same processor as the Xiaomi Mi 9T.
108 megapixel camera will be accompanied by wide angle and telephoto
It is impossible not to notice the promising three-chamber configuration. The main sensor will be 108 megapixels, just like the MIX Alpha, and will be accompanied by a wide angle as well as a telephoto lens.
Everything we get right in photographic terms, plus a 4000mAh battery with 20W fast charging and the ever desired NFC. In addition, it has IR Blaster, promising good sound quality.
Price and availability
The information leak suggests a price of RMB 2599, which is about 328 euros in direct conversion. A price that would easily reach 400 euros at European level. Is this the price to pay for a hypothetical good camera? Xiaomi is expected to reveal the release date next week.
