Xiaomi is about to launch a smartphone that looks to the untrained eye more like a Huawei P20 Lite. The mysterious smartphone appeared on China's mobile regulator TENAA.
Although nothing guarantees that the smartphone is revealed by the Chinese company, there are rare (very rare) cases where a smartphone goes through TENAA and does not reach the market officially.

So I want to believe that Xiaomi will even launch a smartphone that at first glance looks more like a Huawei P20 Lite.
Huawei P20 Lite is a great smartphone but Xiaomi should be inspired
Although I have nothing against the design copy of smartphones, I personally like Xiaomi. That is, I am not very happy to see the lack of originality for a company that I follow and appreciate the work that has been developing.
At first the smartphone we are looking at is the Xiaomi Redmi 7 and will arrive with mid range specs. Rumor has it that the smartphone will feature a 5.84 "screen and a 2900 mAh battery.
Although the back is very similar to the Huawei P20 Lite the front should not be that much. Apparently we will have a central front camera. That is, we are likely to have a Notch "drop of water" instead of the largest we see on the Huawei P20 Lite.
The back is what you can see. A double camera in the corner, flash below and the lens description. We have a biometric sensor in the middle and a possible glass construction.
In short, as much as I think the Huawei P20 Lite is a very well-built smartphone and I think it's worth the investment, I don't know how Xiaomi should follow the design lines. Xiaomi has so much imagination (Mix is the example) why should you do something everyone else does too?
