Xiaomi announced on Tuesday (24), the new version of its user interface – MIUI 11. With this, the brand released a list of more than 40 devices that will receive the update.
Much to the surprise of fans of the brand, the Pocophone F1 was the biggest absent from this list. However, one of Xiaomi's executives has come to rest the users of this device, ensuring that it will receive the MIUI 11
“Poco fans, please don't worry. We'll have MIUI 11 when it launches globally, ”said Alvin Tse, Pocophone Global leader and Xiaomi executive.
In this series of tweets, Alvin Tse has ensured that the absence of Pocophone F1 on this list has a reason. The shared list only includes devices sold in China, which is not the case with the Pocophone F1.
When will the update arrive
Alvin Tse has not left a guaranteed date for its users. Still, he left some clues: “In mid-October, the stable version of MIUI 11 will be launched in China. The global version will be released shortly after, but not much. ”
If you have a Pocophone F1 you can rest assured that you are upgrading to MIUI 11. This is still a very capable device today, being one of the great value for money in 2018. It is good to keep in mind that this is the version of MIUI that will give rise to Android 10, and will reach over 40 branded devices.
