The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, which may also be known as Mi Alpha, will be the next smartphone from the Asian company. The new high-end should bring a design identical to its predecessor, but with small changes that can make it even more relevant.
First we should stop having the slider. This solution was imposed on Mi Mix 3 in order to bring a solution to the front cameras. However, with the breakthrough of the Redmi K20 and Mi 9T pop-up camera smartphones, it is more than likely that the choice will go through the camera that "jumps" when activated.
Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 screen promises super tight margins
As always, the Xiaomi Mi Mix will be a smartphone with reduced margins. It seems that Mi Mix 4 will have these even smaller margins. We see a small line at the top, and a slightly larger line at the bottom. I dare say that the bottom margin is relatively thinner than that of the predecessor.
Curved screen seems a certainty
We can still see a slightly curved screen. It has been said that Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 could bring the "cascade" (seriously curved) ideology, but if this image is correct, this should not happen. Instead, we will have a slight curvature as we now have on the Huawei P30 or even OnePlus 7 Pro.
What to expect from Xiaomi Mi Mix 4
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ Processor
- OLED screen
- On-screen biometric sensor
- 90Hz display
- Glass construction
- Triple rear camera with 108MP main sensor
- 30W Wireless Fast Charging
- Fast charging with wires greater than 45W
- Price around 500 € / 600 € at launch
In short, expectations are high. Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 (or Mi Alpha) is expected to reach the European market at about the same time as the Asian market. Xiaomi has been increasing the brand investment and it seems that will continue. At least in UK where they are already preparing to launch their second physical store.
