After a long wait, users of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S finally started receiving the desired Android 10 update. I remember that the smartphone had already received MIUI 11 in October last year, however, this version was still based on the Android Pie.
Also during October 2019, the first Android 10-based MIUI 11 beta for the Mi Mix 2S was released, leaving users hoping the update would arrive before the end of the year. Clearly, this did not happen.
After long months, Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S has already received Android 10
Now, the manufacturer has officially started to release the desired update, starting with the Chinese market. Unfortunately, there is no confirmation that this update is also being released in international markets. However, it is likely not to take much longer.
Still, it's important to remember that this kind of update is being phased out to millions of users. It is therefore natural that it always takes several days (even weeks) to make it available to all users.
With the arrival of Android 10, Mi Mix 2S users will be able to take advantage of all the new implementations made in the latest version of Google's operating system. In addition to implementing Dark Mode natively, numerous improvements have also been made with regard to smartphone performance and power management capabilities.
