Xiaomi unveiled yesterday its latest high-end Mi Mix 2S, but this year we will still have an alleged Xiaomi Mi 7 and Mi 7 Plus jumping onto the shelves. With the possible arrival of Xiaomi to UK, there are many attentions in the future terminals of the Chinese company.

At first glance, the recent Mi Mix 2S is a great terminal with all the specifications one could want. However, not everyone likes the almost borderless design and a front camera at the bottom.

That's why Xiaomi still has its top of the range "Mi". Last year the Mi 6 managed to convince in many ways. It was one of the best devices I had the opportunity to test and was seriously surprised by its build quality.

This year rumors mention that we will have two models of the "Mi". The Xiaomi Mi 7 and Mi 7 Plus are due to be introduced in the coming months. According to previous rumors, this delay is due to the implementation of the biometric sensor on the device screen.

Xiaomi Mi 7 and 7 Plus should arrive with MIUI 10 installed

Today XDA found more evidence in the firmware indicating that the Chinese company may even be working on a fingerprint reader built into the device's screen. We can also see in the image taken from the firmware the little "notch" at the top of the screen.

Yeah … The Xiaomi Mi 7 and "Plus" should follow the trend of the "single mirror" that is giving so much talk. Note that if the "Plus" model actually arrives with such an on-screen biometric sensor, it is also likely to reveal an AMOLED screen to us.

LCD screens do not do as good a job with this technology as AMOLEDs and since we are still in the embryonic phase of the feature, it is plausible to imagine investing in such AMOLED rather than developing technology on an LCD.

So far they are speculations with little evidence. The firmware really proves that Xiaomi is working on something with this technology, however, there is no guarantee that it will be revealed in the next high end.
