The Xiaomi Mi 11 generation may arrive in January 2021
With the global smartphone market still falling, but already showing signs of recovery in several areas, Xiaomi will want to be one of the first major manufacturers (OEMs) to bring next generation products to the market in early 2021.
If so, Xiaomi, the world’s fourth largest smartphone maker, would anticipate Samsung, which usually presents its Galaxy S line smartphones in February. Likewise, it would also anticipate Huawei, a country manufacturer that occupies a prominent position in the world market and which clearly dominates the home market, China.
Among the highlights of the new generation of Xiaomi smartphones we have the next high-end processor from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 875. This SoC will be announced in early December during the Qualcomm Snapdragon Tech Summit.
The expected features for the Xiaomi Mi 11
The leaks suggest two versions, or two top Android smartphones. The differences will be present in the size, battery capacity and, probably, in the characteristics of the camera.
The base model of the Xiaomi Mi 11 can reach the market with 6 GB of RAM, in addition to the aforementioned Snapdragon 875. There is also the indication of a main camera of 50 MP, as well as a secondary camera with letefoto lens of 12 MP .
Likewise, we have complete screens in which the front camera pierces the AMOLED panel. Note, however, that only one of the versions, possibly the Mi 11 Pro, will have curved margins.
Finally, we reiterate that there is still a lot of uncertainty surrounding the details of these smartphones.
