The Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro are about to be revealed officially and the rumors have been increasingly. However, as enthusiasm grows, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has also been able to give us a “reality slap”.
In the past, the CEO had said that the value of his smartphones would go up. That is why it created Redmi and Poco as sub-brands. Today confirmed that the Xiaomi Mi 10 will have a higher value than expected.
Reasons for the higher price of Xiaomi Mi 10
In his reasons, Lei Jun said that the Xiaomi Mi 10 will be a flagship worthy of competing with any other on the market. Therefore, it would be expected that the terminal had the technology to do so. This means a price increase.
- Samsung curved screen with 90Hz Refresh Rate
- 108MP camera
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor
- UFS 3.0 memory
- LPDDR5 RAM
- 5G network technology
Redmi and Poco serve the purpose
As I mentioned, Lei Jun pointed out that there are sub-brands to create high-end smartphones at a more competitive price. Xiaomi looks at the market differently and it looks like its top of the range will do so.
Still, it is worth mentioning that Xiaomi continues with the goal of not charging more than 5% profit on its equipment. Therefore, we realize that the possible increase in value will be due to the high price of the components.
In short, I don’t mind that Xiaomi slightly raises the value of its smartphones to give us more quality. However, I am also an apologist that hardware is not everything and that Xiaomi should invest a little more in solving software problems that are constantly affecting users. Whether they are intermediate or high-end smartphones.
