This Thursday Xiaomi will unveil its new high-end smartphones – the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro – at an online event in China. Within hours of the official revelation, the brand has promoted some of the most relevant specifications of future devices.
As you can see in the poster below, the Xiaomi Mi 10 will feature a curved 6.67-inch AMOLED screen, with a 5000000: 1 contrast. In the upper left corner of the screen there will be a small hole for the front camera.
This image promises a maximum brightness of 1120 nits, with 4096 adjustment levels. What the manufacturer promises is a screen where the colors are at the level of the best in the market.
90Hz refresh rate is a guarantee on the Mi 10
What we can expect from the Mi 10 is support for a 90Hz refresh rate, and a 180Hz sampling rate. We will be talking about a device with support for HDR10 +, color range DCI-P3 and DC Dimming.
Although it is not directly mentioned in these promotional images, it is known that the Mi 10 will have the biometric sensor embedded in the screen. As for all screen quality, it should have few variations on the Mi 10 Pro.
Looking at the screen of the Xiaomi Mi 10, the only thing that dislikes is the hole in that part of the screen. The most sensible decision would be to put it at the center like Samsung did, and that could be the only negative thing to point to a screen that has everything to be of great quality.
