Nowadays it is not easy to find a smartphone for those who value small screens. The Xiaomi Mi 10 is one of those examples, as it has a 6.67 inch screen. But if you are looking for something even bigger, the Chinese will have a solution for you.
According to what advances Digital Chat Station, Xiaomi is working on a Mi 10S, whose differentiating feature will be a larger screen. This smartphone will be presented in the second half of the year.
We have no indication of the dimensions of this new version of the Xiaomi Mi 10. However, taking into account the current ones, it would not be surprising that the Mi 10S came with a screen very close to 7 inches.
Will the Xiaomi Mi 10S be entitled to an increase in resolution?
For some reason, Xiaomi continues to focus on Full-HD + resolution for its tops. We haven’t seen anyone complain that this resolution compromises the viewing experience, but the most geeks certainly despair for the implementation of Quad-HD.
If the Xiaomi Mi 10S arrives with a screen close to 7 inches, this will be the ideal time for the Chinese to take the leap. This is because the recent Black Shark 3 Pro has a 7.1 inch screen and Quad-HD + resolution.
Depending on the date of presentation of this Mi 10S, we can still see an update of its processor. The Snapdragon 865 Plus is expected to be released between July and September 2020, which fits the supposed timetable for this new version of Xiaomi’s range tops.
Xiaomi gives us versions for all tastes
Last year, its top of the range (Xiaomi Mi 9) was entitled to several versions. In addition to the “normal” version, we had the Mi 9T and Mi 9T Pro for those who wanted an uninterrupted screen. In addition, it was launched from Xiaomi MI 9 Lite for those who do not have that much purchasing power.
If these versions are repeated this year, as well as the one we are talking about today, we could have up to six variants of the same smartphone line. Too much equipment? Some will argue that it is, but Xiaomi does not seem to think it is saturating the market with this strategy.
