Xiaomi is preparing to launch another top of the range in celebration of the 10 years of the Mi line. Earlier today it was confirmed that this model will be the Mi 10 Ultra and now we have more data on its construction.
Apparently, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra will be sold in at least two variants. One of them will come with a ceramic construction and one with a transparent rear.
The first will be an edition with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage or 12GB / 256GB. The version with transparent back will certainly be the most expensive since it will have configurations of 12GB / 256GB or 16GB / 512GB.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra will resurrect models with transparent back
The Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra will not be the first smartphone of the brand to hit the market with a transparent back. The company has already done so with the Xiaomi Mi 8 and Mi 9, but that has not been repeated with the Mi 10.
It was undeniable the fascination that these editions aroused in the community, even if what we saw was nothing more than a sticker. And even if the company opts for the same strategy on the Mi 10 Ultra, the model will be no less fascinating than the rest.
Xiaomi has to find a way to captivate fans to opt for the new Mi 10 Ultra. And it seems to me that improving the build quality of this model will be a good way to attract more buyers and, at the same time, justify an increase in its price.
Will this look like the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra?
An image also appeared, allegedly promoting the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra, which reveals some changes to the smartphone’s camera. Unfortunately, I cannot say that I was fascinated with the result.
This change in the camera module of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is mainly due to the inclusion of a periscope lens. This will enhance the smartphone’s zoom capabilities, with a hybrid approach of up to 100 times expected.
The presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra is scheduled for August 10. In other words, there are only a few days left before all details regarding the new top of the range are revealed.
