Just a few days before the official launch of the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi has started to reveal the first promotional videos for its new smartphones. The first video was shared by the brand’s CEO, Lei Jun, and shows a curious confrontation.
We see the world champion Rubik’s Cube, Du Yusheng, facing robotic arms commanded by the Xiaomi Mi 10. The machine doesn’t always beat the man, but that’s what happened in this case.
A human’s world record for solving a Rubik’s Cube is 3.47 seconds. As you can see in the video, Du Yusheng has an impressive time of 6.47 seconds.
However, the robot commanded by the Xiaomi Mi 10 goes much further, completing the task in just 1.43 seconds. However, this was not the only curious promotion video shared by Xiaomi.
Xiaomi Mi 10 also wins a laptop
To show the processing power of this smartphone and the Snapdragon 865, it was confronted with a laptop with an Intel Core i7-8550U. When solving a calculation, the Mi 10 did it in 36.8 seconds, with the computer taking 92 seconds.
These are not the kind of tests and promotional videos that we are used to seeing, and work only as an appetizer for what to expect from these devices. The online event will take place on the 13th, and the global presentation will be in Spain, on the 23rd of February.
