As it does for high-end smartphones, the AnTuTu platform has also revealed to us which are the most powerful Android smartphones in the mid-range segment. Contrary to what happened with the new top-of-the-range table, this month there were no big surprises in the mid-range.
Xiaomi continues to stand out in the first position with the Redmi 10X 5G, equipped with MediaTek’s Dimensity 820 processor. However, its advantage for the Huawei Nova 7 Pro is marginal, with only 3 thousand points of advantage.
This is an extremely competitive segment that continues to be dominated by Huawei / Honor, with a total of 6 smartphones in the TOP 10.
The highlight of this month ends up being the Realme Q2 Pro 5G, being the first smartphone from the manufacturer to appear on the tops of AnTuTu.
Huawei processors dominate the mid-range segment on Android smartphones
If, on the one hand, Qualcomm continues to dominate the ranking of high-end smartphones, the same does not happen in the mid-range segment. In this competitive market, Huawei dominates with its Kirin processors, followed by MediaTek.
However, considering all the problems that the manufacturer is going through due to restrictions imposed by the United States, that could change soon.
Especially if we consider the great advances presented by MediaTek in its new mid-range processors, it is expected that they will be able to completely dominate the market as of January 2021.
