Xiaomi is set to hit Smart TV sales record in 2019

In 2019, Xiaomi began to focus heavily on the Smart TV segment, which has experienced exponential growth worldwide this year. To launch itself ahead of the competition, the manufacturer has introduced several models that can basically cover all types of target audience.

The brand’s wide bet in this segment is proving to be very positive. One of Xiaomi’s senior Smart TV executives revealed today that the brand is about to achieve an incredible achievement in the Chinese market, with close to selling 10 million Smart TVs in 2019.

To understand the scale of this feat, it has been confirmed that a leading brand in the Chinese television market has never been able to sell 10 million units in just one year. This revelation by Li Xiaoshuang is clearly intended to captivate users into purchasing one of several models available on the market.

Giants in the television world have not done this for over 30 years!

According to one of the Chinese press figures, Hisense has not been able to do so for 40 years, Skyworth has not done so for 30 years and TCL has not done so for 38 years. It took Xiaomi only 6 years to get extremely close to setting a new sales record.

Once again, Xiaomi has once again proven to be one of the largest manufacturers in the world, no matter which segment they focus their efforts on. Since launching their first Smart TV 6 years ago, they have evolved amazingly, easily surpassing television developers for decades.

In November, the executive revealed during the launch of the Xiaomi Mi 5 line that the brand had dominated the market for over 9 months and was able to keep the average of 2.3 million units sold per quarter stable.
