Xiaomi has more surprises for tomorrow’s event. New Redmi smartwatch on the way!

Xiaomi is already making the final preparations for its next event, which will take place tomorrow in China. During this event, the presentation of the new Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G is already confirmed, but it seems that these will not be the only products to be presented.

Today, through his official account on the Chinese social network Weibo, Lu Weibing left us a new clue that points to the presentation of a new smartwatch from Redmi. In the description of the image (quite peculiar) published, he states that this smartwatch will be quite light and will have a small square screen.

Redmi smartwatch

In the image, we see a very strange representation of the smartwatch, with the legendary British clock tower – Big Ben – jumping from the clock screen. Considering that exclusive products for the Chinese market are expected at this event, this image brings us the possibility of confirming some international launches.

What we know about Redmi’s new smartwatch

Unfortunately, although its presentation is scheduled for tomorrow, there are very few details known about this new smartwatch. Although it has not been confirmed, everything indicates that this may be the same model that was certified by the FCC last month.

If confirmed, we can confirm that it will arrive with a square screen of 1.41 “inches and a battery of 230mAh. In addition, the certification also confirmed the support for integrated GPS, water resistance up to 5ATM, beat monitoring cardiac.

As you would expect, regardless of the market segment it is intended for, this new smartwatch will also come with several features designed to monitor health and physical activity. Therefore, you will be able to count on several sport modes, as well as several functionalities integrated in the Mi Fit application.
