After establishing itself as one of the largest smartphone manufacturers in the world, Xiaomi did not take long to invest many of its resources in other market segments. Despite being one of the brands that most “stretches” among countless segments, there is no doubt that Xiaomi has conquered an increasingly prominent position in the world of Smart TVs.
At a time when it still celebrates a decade of existence, the manufacturer will present its first Smart TV with a resolution of 8K, the Xiaomi TV Master Ultra Edition. As with most of the brand’s new Smart TVs, this one is only confirmed for the Chinese market (September 28), and it remains to be seen whether they will decide to carry out a global launch.
Unfortunately, in addition to its maximum resolution and support for 5G networks, more information has not yet been officially confirmed. However, rumors point to a dimension of at least 65 “inches.
Xiaomi will continue to bet on the launch of high-end Smart TVs
Xiaomi seems to be determined to bet strongly on the launch of high-end Smart TVs, after having created a vast portfolio of more affordable TVs. Not long ago we saw the manufacturer launch the Xiaomi Mi TV Master with a 4K panel. Although it has not been confirmed, considering its name and specifications, everything indicates that this new Smart TV that will be revealed on September 28th is a “Pro” model.
I recall that this Smart TV arrived with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a screen / body ratio of 98.8%. Therefore, it is to be expected that Xiaomi Mi TV Master Ultra Edition will also arrive with a design with almost nonexistent margins.
Although rumors suggest that the 65 “inch panel remains, this may not be the only size of the new television. Reference has recently been made to the certification of an 85” inch Xiaomi panel.
As for its price, there is still no concrete information, but it seems guaranteed that it will not be the cheapest of Smart TVs.
