Xiaomi: electric scooter in partnership with Mercedes already has presentation date

We must go back to mid 2020 to present the latest electric scooters from Xiaomi – the Mi Electric Scooter 1S and Mi Electric Scooter Scooter Pro 2. These would later hit the market, but they were not the only novelty of this event.

To date, Xiaomi has announced a partnership with Mercedes-AMG Petronas to launch a special edition of Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2. Now it has been revealed that it will be formally presented on February 8.

In a short video shared on social networks, Xiaomi reveals that the scooter is “just around the corner”. And it promises to be a real delight for all those who enjoy Formula 1.

This will be a close partnership between Xiaomi and the Mercedes-AMG Petronas F1 Team Edition. As its name implies, the scooter design will be based on the Formula 1 cars currently driven by Lewis Hamilton and Valteri Bottas.

The video shared by Xiaomi is suggestive, and reveals that we can expect a design that combines gray, black and shades of green. It is also possible to see the slngan “The best or nothing” – the best or nothing.

Remember that the Mi Electric Scooter Pro 2 has a base price of € 549.99, although you can currently purchase it on the Mi Store for € 499.99. It stands out for having an engine power of 300W, a maximum speed of 25 km / h and a battery capacity of 12800mAh / 474Wh for up to 45 km of autonomy.

It now remains to be seen whether this special edition will follow the same characteristics, or whether we will have any improvements. On February 8 we will know all the details.
