Xiaomi has been pretty quiet about its Black Shark gaming phone. The market has been waiting for a third version of this device for several months, having already passed certifications of Bluetooth and Wi-Fi in their associations.
Well, it looks like Black Shark 3 “has come out of the water” once again to be certified by the Ministry of Industry and Technology Information in China. The code name of the device is “SHARK KLE-A0” which easily lets us conclude that this is another Black Shark family device.
This Ministry certifies mobile phones according to their connections and frequencies. Therefore, the only other information we can pull from this certificate is that the equipment will come equipped with 5G technology.
We can then say that the Black Shark 3 will come with 5G support. The inclusion of a fifth generation mobile data compatible modem and processor makes sense because being a gaming mobile phone, the speed and stability of the internet connection is of utmost importance.
Xiaomi already confirmed Black Shark for 2020
Earlier this year, the CEO of Black Shark stated that the gaming brand was already developing a mobile phone prototype. The CEO also added that the phone will be presented sometime during 2020. However, specifications or general features were not detailed.
The latest model launched by Xiaomi was the Black Shark 2 Pro, equipped with Snapdragon + and fast charging up to 27W. The Black Shark 3 should come equipped with all the latest components and who knows, maybe jump to 16 GB of RAM on a mobile phone.
