In case you don’t know, Waze has a web version of its live map. This allows you to view traffic conditions from your PC, before you hit the road. And thanks to a QR Code, you can now send your route in a very simple way to your phone.
How to send Waze directions from your computer to your phone
Go to https://www.waze.com/pt-PT/livemap;
Search the location you want to go to;
Click on “Send to mobile”;
Follow the instructions in the image below: open the camera of the mobile phone, take a photo to the QR CODE and open the connection it generated;
If you have Waze installed, it will open directly on your route and ask you to start it.
As you can see, this is a very simple process, which you only have to do the first time. As soon as your account on the smartphone is connected to the computer, the next notification will appear immediately on the phone with data on your route.
