After launching its first electric car – the Volkswagen ID 3, the German automaker will now venture into the SUV segment. The new model is called ID 4, and will be officially presented at the end of September.
Although the new model has not yet been formally presented, the brand has shared several images showing its interior. Minimalism seems to reign, and it will take some inspiration from Tesla.
As you can see from the shared images, the Volkswagen ID 4 will have two screens. And if Tesla’s minimalism – where the buttons are practically nonexistent – you don’t like it, here you’ll have some available.
In addition to everything you can count on the central screen and its infotainment, you will have access to several buttons below this one. In addition, some buttons on the left side of the steering wheel are also notable.
The Verge says that the color scheme will be the biggest selling point of this vehicle, and it seems to be so. The system called “ID.Light” goes through the entire dashboard of the car, and will look just fantastic, you just have to lock the doors or you are receiving a call.
As with ID 3, the new ID 4 will be presented first in Europe, later this month. It will later be sold on the old continent, and it seems that it will be the first electric from the manufacturer to be sold on American soil.
