Vivo introduced us a smartphone with the name of Apex some time ago. The terminal was distinguished by the lack of margins and the front camera being embedded in the upper rim.
The Chinese brand said that Apex would not hit the market, but applied all the technology of this prototype in a so-called Nex.

In a new image released by the well-known leakster @Ben Geskin We can see both smartphones side by side. The Apex prototype is the smartphone on the right, while the model that will be officially unveiled in the coming weeks is the one on the left.
The front has 98% screen coverage, which is for now the most offering screen terminal in the market. We can see that the smartphone has only a slightly larger lower margin.
Vivo Nex will arrive early next month officially
If we look closely at the image we see a camera at the bottom, the same place where Xiaomi mix models offer their front camera.
However, there is no reason to be sad. Apparently this camera will be for unlocking purposes only. The front camera will remain at the top embedded in the smartphone's rim.
When you turn on the front camera, we'll see the camera's automatic movement rising to take the selfie. Something similar to what you can see in the promotional video above in the article.
This Vivo Nex is expected to arrive with all the specifications of a high end. The device will come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and 8GB of RAM.
It is unlikely that Vivo Apex will officially reach our market, but it should not be complicated to buy the terminal through stores from China.
