Vivo APEX 2020 is the first smartphone with a camera inside the screen

Vivo Apex 2020 smartphone camera inside the screen

Vivo Apex 2020 was officially revealed and in addition to providing us with top specifications, it also gives us the characteristic we all expected. The first smartphone in the world that brings us a front camera inside the screen.

That is, no “notches”, “holes”, “pop-ups” or “sliders”. The camera is literally inside the screen and when you interact with the smartphone you don’t see that front sensor.

It is worth mentioning that, like the other APEX of the past, this is a concept made by the brand. However, it is also important to note that all other Vivo “concepts” arrived on the market months after being revealed.

A look at Live APEX 2020

The smartphone is elegant with features that leave us wishing that this terminal was on sale at the corner store. We have a formidable 120º curved screen and a camera that promises a unique stabilization.

  • Features that surprise
  • Camera inside the screen
  • 60W wireless charging
  • Screen emits vibrating sound
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset
  • 12GB of RAM
  • 256GB of internal storage

Dream wireless charging

Vivo surprised again and the rumors proved to be correct. The smartphone has a faster wireless charge than most wired devices.

With 60W of wireless charging the device will charge super fast when connected to a compatible charger. It remains to be seen whether this charger (which shouldn’t be cheap) will arrive with the smartphone in the box.

Availability and price

Unfortunately, information about when (and for how much) this smartphone will reach the market has not yet been shared. Like other Vivo smartphones, it is not expected that it will reach our market officially.

However, the most important thing about this APEX 2020 is that, once again, it pushed technology to a level where we only dreamed. Hopefully, this terminal will drive competitors to match quality. Just like the first Apex did with the pop-up camera.
