Twitter continues to work on the development of several new features for its platform, in order to be able to increasingly improve the entire user experience. After the acquisition of Chroma Labs was confirmed, they have now started to launch a new feature called “Continue thread“.
This new addition aims to give users a tool to add information to older publications, in a simple and practical way. By using the new feature, you will be able to link several tweets in a single “conversation”, regardless of when they were posted.

How can you use the “Continue thread “
To take advantage of the new addition, you will need to follow these simple steps:
- Click the button to create a tweet
- Drag the window down and click on the option Continue thread
- To add information to your last tweet, just click on the “Tweet” button
- If you want to add to an old publication, click on the three dots icon and select the desired publication
Unfortunately, this is a feature that is being made available through an update on the server. So even if you have the latest version of Twitter, it doesn’t mean that you already have this feature available.
As with all updates of this type, it may take a few days before it becomes available to all users.
Twitter may soon implement functionality similar to Instagram Stories
Apparently, Twitter is preparing several new features for its users. Although the arrival of a new feature has not yet been officially confirmed, after the acquisition of the company Chroma Labs, everything indicates that we may see an adaptation of Instagram Stories for Twitter arriving.
If this happens, it will be interesting to see how the company will be able to integrate this new functionality naturally into the simplified structure of its platform.
