With the future going VR, the possibilities of what you can do with the technology is amazing. Some will just stay as concepts due to cost or production. Some will hopefully break through and hit the market.
The Oculus technology will provide users with a completely immersive technology. Engrossing the user in a fully 3D world. With products such as the Oculus Rift. Microsoft Hololens. HTC Hive. Pico VR and various other products. The future is extremely bright in the world of virtual reality.
STEM System Sixense.
The STEM System™ is a wireless, motion tracking platform. For video games, virtual reality (VR), and more. It enables players to interact naturally and intuitively with games. By tracking full position and orientation at all times. Whether at the desktop or throughout the entire living room.
This is the next big step in Sixense motion tracking technology. Advancements including longer range. wireless operation, and better tracking performance. The STEM System will support up to five wireless motion trackers. These are known as STEMs. Full position and orientation tracking of the head and hands. The entire body, or other configurations.
Oculus Rift Omnidirectional Treadmills.
Truly enhancing your experience. With an Omnidirectional Treadmill, you get the full immersive experience. Going anywhere you want in the comfort of your house.
Gaming chairs are a thing of the past. These immersive treadmills offer a full experience for your game. Experience virtual worlds like never before. If you combine it with the Oculus Rift, you might get an immersion you have never experienced before.
With Virtuix Omni you will be able to move around physically. Without encountering the wall, or any obstacles. The circular moving belt is holding you in one position. You also have to wear specific boots that let you slide on the surface of the Virtuix ground.
The Cyberith Virtualizer combines the technology of the PrioVR with a treadmill. Whether this makes it to market is yet to be seen. Like the Vituix Omni, the possibilities for this are endless. A very exciting prospect. The Virtualizer enables motion by the principle of low friction.
The body is fixed in a rotatable ring that can be moved vertically. In combination with a head-mounted display like the Oculus Rift. It allows you to move, run, jump or crouch in virtual worlds. The current prototype does not need any special kind of shoes.
PrioVR uses high-performance inertial sensors. It provides 360 degrees of low-latency. Real-time motion tracking. Without the need for cameras, optics, line-of-sight, or large, awkward equipment. All PrioVR needs is you!
PrioVR’s sensors are placed on key points of your body to capture your movements. It translates them on-screen in real-time. Similar to mo-cap technology used in gaming development. PrioVR is wireless, allows for multiple simultaneous users. It will work anywhere. Indoors or out, in capture spaces of any size.
PrioVR is available in three versions. Core. Lite, and Pro. All of which are wireless and compatible with each other. All suites include two hand-controllers. The joysticks let you easily navigate through large worlds without actually walking. The trigger supports a familiar shooting experience.
Dexmo is a mechanical exoskeleton that captures your hand motion. As well as providing you with force feedback. It provides the possibility for a new type of human-machine-interaction in the field of robotics and virtual reality. The
Dexmo is a development product. Due to its cost will probably never reach the market. However, the idea and possibility of it are amazing. This kind of advanced technology will lead to more cheaper consumer based products in the future. The Handurino is also under development.
Again this will probably not come to light. It is seen as a more affordable, dexterous robotics hand with 11 degrees of freedom.
