Gadgets are fantastic, however, they all suffer from a common one. They all need a battery or any electrical connection in order to have autonomy to do what they promise.
However, even as technology continues to evolve, we feel that batteries are even worse than in the past. This is because technology requires more battery power and battery technology has changed little in recent years.
Atomic battery with a surprising autonomy
This new atomic battery can handle 20 years of use. That is, much more than any other battery on the market. Most impressive is its small size.
Still, we can’t dream of a battery like this on our smartphone. At least for now. This battery is still in development and is made for small gadgets.
In other words, I didn’t mind having one of these batteries in my Ring Bell (Amazon’s smart bell). At least I didn’t have to charge it every 6 months or connect directly to the power.
This battery based on beta-voltaic cells. That is, it theoretically gives us more autonomy and the manufacturing cost is considerably less than other batteries of its kind.
It’s still too early to dream
Unfortunately, it is still too early to dream about this battery in one of our gadgets. However, as I said, we need developments in this sector and this is an important step for the technology that moves humanity.
Something tells me that it is only a matter of time before the words “atomic” stop frightening people. The energy of this type is much more powerful and lasting than any other. Therefore, it seems to me the decisive step to change and revolutionize our society.
