A Taschen collection to frame
Last year the elite publisher Taschen delighted us all with a dream volume. It was about The Star Wars Archives: 1977-1983, an impressive book (for finishes, contents and even size) in which you could enjoy an authentic walk through the Episodes IV, V and VI from Star Wars.
The book quickly became an object of desire for all fans of the franchise and, despite its price (we talked about 150 euros), it did not take long to fill the shelves of many followers who saw in this issue a very special piece with which to pay tribute to the great Skywalker Saga.
It was clear that this book would be followed by a second release comprising the second trilogy (the first if we take it in chronological order of history) and here it is. Announced a while ago, there are only a few days left for the edit 1999–2005 see the light, so you may want to prepare for its launch …
The new Star Wars files
The Star Wars Archives: 1999–2005, created again by Paul Duncan for Taschen, everything is ready to be put into circulation. Unlike the previous edition, this volume, which includes Episodes I, II and III, is of Red color, although it maintains the same hardcover aesthetic (in glitter finish) and size (XXL) as its brother.
Once again we have a complete review of a piece of Star Wars history with hundreds and hundreds of photos of concept art, storyboards and documents and an endless number of files related to the recordings of the three films that were released between the years 1999 and 2005: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones Y Revenge of the Sith. Now we also have new characters that did not appear in the first book such as Princess Padmé Amidala, Qui-Gon Jinn or, of course, Anakin Skywalker.
The book has the same price as the first part at its launch (150 euros) and can be purchased apart from next October 23. On Amazon you can already reserve it (and thus make sure that you do not run out of it) from now on, also taking advantage of a small discount that leaves it in 142.50 euros -We already warned that it was «small». In the event that the book increases in cost again, its reserve price will be respected, and nothing will be charged until the book leaves for your home from the 23rd, remember. 10,000 units will be printed in principle.
