This Dualshock 5 looks pretty good

The boys of LetsGoDigital They have taken advantage of the Sony patent that showed some sketches of the future PlayStation controller to imagine how the next Playstation accessory would look in real life. For this they have asked for help from Giuseppe Spinelli, also known as Snoreyn, a graphic designer with YouTube channel who has created this spectacular fake promotional video that presents in a fictional way the supposed functions and design of the PlayStation controller.

As you can see, the lines of the design and the main functions are based on the information we had seen months ago, since we can see details such as rubber terminations in the grip areas, progressive analog triggers with reduced travel and even the incorporation of extra buttons completely customizable and removable (in the style of the Xbox Elite Controller).

Aesthetically the proposal is quite conservative, however, we do not expect major changes in the Dualshock 5, so everything suggests that these images could be very close to the final aspect of the gamepad. In recent months, Xbox has been winning in the territory of accessories thanks to the launch of the Xbox Elite Controller 2, which allows an adjustment of the analog pads to define the resistance when moving them.

We continue with many assumptions and zero confirmations

Players are demanding more complete control options, especially in competitive environments, where customization of controls and speed of response is key when playing each game. We also know that the haptic response It will have novelties, since the vibration system will be able to faithfully reproduce different materials and surfaces shown in the game, such as moving from mud to asphalt in a driving game.

Unfortunately, all of these features are unconfirmed assumptions, so no matter how spectacular the video looks, we cannot have great illusions until Sony decides to get us out of doubt. And for that we will have to keep waiting a little longer.
