Originally released for the Xbox 360 and PC in 2008-2009, The Last Remnant is an epic RPG from Square Enix, the same studio as Final Fantasy. The game has just been released for Android and iOS mobile devices, with a value of € 19.99. Check out the trailer.
The Last Remnant was also released this year for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch, making this game available on virtually all current gaming platforms except Google Stadia. The mobile version has been improved graphically and with new gameplay elements in addition to the new Unreal Engine 4 engine.
The Last Remnant is a pure RPG
The Last Remnant is set in an open world where the player can explore freely. You can choose from 4 folklore races: Mitra, Yama, Qsiti and Sovani, each with their own unique powers and abilities. The objective of the game is to find the "remnants" or mystical goals.
It is up to the player to find all the "remnants" and restore balance to the world, ending the war between the 4 races. The Last Remnant has a Morale system, where combat attitudes result in a stronger battle spirit and more powerful attacks.
Being a paid game, you don't have to worry about micro-transactions when buying The Last Remnant. This is a breath of fresh air that goes against the trend of all games trying to convince you to spend more money on in-app purchases.
Minimum Requirements to Play The Last Remnant
- Android 7.0
- 2 GB RAM or more
- Snapdragon 670 Processor or Above
- 6 GB free storage
As a converted computer game and console for mobile phones, don't expect a 100% versatile control scheme. There is only one button and the virtual joystick to control your character in Last Remnant.
