The Boys 2, a fantastic season
The premiere of The Boys on Amazon Prime Video was a huge surprise for everyone. For those who did not know the adventures of this gang of vigilantes, due to its high voltage content and the parallel world of superheroes it presents; for those who were already readers of the Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson comics, to the pleasant surprise of seeing how a priori such a complicated story has been adapted to the small screen in a more than satisfactory way.
And it is that the series has its chicha. The Boys characters show us that Superheros they do not have to be as holy or good as the industry has always painted us and that not even vigilantes willing to face them they are free from their own demons and flaws. Together they make up an entertaining dynamic, very frenetic, full of violence, many gore scenes and language not suitable for everyone that has ended up convincing critics both in its first installment and in the second that ended just a few weeks ago.
The second season has thus left us with a good taste in our mouths, where justice has been done with certain issues, some muddles have been solved and new ones have been opened, as always plots that leave us wanting more. We’ve gotten to know all the characters better, discovered new faces, and ultimately enjoyed a narrative that has lived up to expectations. But hey, shooting all of this… isn’t always easy. And if you don’t believe it, you just have to take a look at the many false shots that Amazon has released from the filming.
The outtakes of the second installment
No matter how serious we see them on stage, the truth is that behind the superheroes and other characters in The Boys there are actors with their good days … and not so good. Sometimes the scenes are shot while others involve endless cuts, either due to a stumble, a fly that sneaks in on the plane or simply because concentration is conspicuous by its absence and script lines are forgotten or given the silly laugh.
That is just what you will see in the video that you have below, a compilation of bloopers (outtakes) from the second season, where we can see the actors making mistakes or laughing out loud. Special mention deserves Antony starr (in charge of giving life to our beloved / hated Homelander -Patriota en España-), who gives us more than one funny moment with his nice repertoire of faces.
Get comfortable, turn up the volume and enjoy. You are guaranteed four minutes of continuous laughter.
