Tesla fans have long awaited the arrival of the much talked about Model Y, which will allegedly be a compact SUV capable of carrying up to 7 people. This promise made it worth talking about, especially after it was revealed that it would be only slightly higher than the current Tesla Model 3.
Now came a video of one of the prototypes, where it was finally possible to see a little better how these two additional places will be presented.
Are the additional seats exclusive for children?
In the video, we see that the third row of seats seems to be extremely compact, with very little legroom. Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a little longer until a video comes up where we can see how the entire bank mechanism works in Tesla Model Y.
There is also the possibility that both rear seats and the third row of seats can be adjusted. If this is confirmed, it may be possible to reach the middle row forward, dividing the leg room more evenly everywhere.
In addition to this third row of seats, Model Y will also arrive with a much-desired change in the luggage carrier. Unlike in Model 3, this new model will come with a full door rather than a small opening as we saw in Model 3.
When will the Tesla Model Y become available?
For now, there are no specific dates for Model Y's arrival in the various markets. However, a wealth of information that has been circulating confirms that the brand is advancing its plans for ordering materials for the production of the new model.
In addition, Elon Musk has already revealed that they hope to achieve Tesla Model Y mass production by the summer of 2020.
