Tesla continues to release constant updates for its electric cars, bringing numerous improvements and troubleshooting that will arise throughout the year. As they did last year, the implementation of great news is reserved for the end of the year, where a new version of their software is launched.
The next version will be the Tesla V11, which is expected to arrive during December. No concrete information about the new implementations has yet been revealed, but Elon Musk took the opportunity to make users’ mouth water with a new publication on Twitter.
Tesla’s CEO did not give any information about these features, saying only that “the Tesla update for the festive season will be on fire”. In addition to some features much requested by users, Elon Musk also promises that new features will be introduced that they didn’t even know they needed.
What is expected from Tesla v11
Over the past few months, Elon Musk has made reference to some features that are expected to be implemented with the new update.
When the pandemic broke out, Tesla’s CEO said that they were working on a new tool that would allow video conferencing to be held inside Tesla cars, using the camera in the rearview mirror and the car’s large central screen. However, it never got to clarify which platforms could be supported by this new feature.
Another example of functionality covered by Musk, was the introduction of a bird’s eye. This mode would take advantage of all the Autopilot’s outer chambers to give the car a vertical viewing angle.
It has also been said that it will be possible for the car to use its external speakers to communicate with the people around it. However, it would not be surprising if this addition was exclusive to the already popular “Sentry Mode” security feature.
Finally, there have been several reports that Tesla is committed to further developing the implementation of games in its cars. However, details about the possible news have not yet been revealed.
