Now, as its supposed date of approaching approaches, the intensity of information leaks has increased. At first glance nothing seems to have changed in the design. They all seem to be the same as all other Sony's in recent years. a wallpaper Different, a few different colors for the device itself but apart from that even a very close eye will be able to detect the differences / changes in its appearance.
The Sony Xperia XA2 and Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra:
Luckily we have some good news. Although they look virtually the same, the Sony Xperia XA2 and Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra will abandon the Mediatek processors their predecessors use. It was about time, being the Japanese technology practically the only builder, present in physical store, that still employed these SoC's.
Instead of Mediatek we will now have Qualcomm's new processors, the Snapdragon 630. This will be a significant improvement for the new devices from the Japanese giant and will surely be appreciated by consumers. The question is what will the retail price of Android devices be?
Looking more closely at its features we can see that the Xperia XA2 will have a 5.2 inch screen or full-HD (1080p) screen. Already its big brother, the Xperia XA2 Ultra will have a 6 inch screen with the same Full-HD resolution. The device construction appears to be metallic.
Both devices will come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. A well-balanced package for the mid-range segment – depending of course on its selling price to the public.
In your favor, both devices will already use the new Android Oreo as their operating system. We will also have a main camera with 21MP resolution. However, the Xperia XA2 will have a 7MP front camera while the Xperia XA2 Ultra will have 15MP resolution for its dual front cameras.
The Sony Xperia L2:
Finally, the most economical of the new devices will be the Sony Xperia L2. This will be the new input equipment. It will have a 5.2 inch HD (720p) screen or display and may still appear with Android Nougat and not the new Android Oreo 8.0 if the sources are correct.
The construction of this Sony Xperia L2 appears to be plastic. It will also feature a fingerprint sensor on its back. Its price is not yet known but should not exceed 200 € (mere estimate) based on its predecessor.
Moreover we know nothing more about this device but looking at its predecessor, the Xperia L1 would not expect big surprises from this device. Even for the inbound market we will have much more captivating options, from BQ, Nokia and even Wiko.
All three of these Android smartphones are due to be unveiled during the first technology show of the year, CES Las Vegas, which will start next week. Already the tops or flagships will arrive later during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
What's your opinion about all these devices?
