Sharp today announced its new device, the Sharp Aquos R5G. This equipment is already prepared for mobile data in the 5G protocol and with a Snapdragon 865 processor to feed its capabilities. Sharp became popular in 2014 for launching the Aquos Crystal, a frameless phone.

One of the sharp highlights of the Sharp Aquos R5G is its 120Hz refresh rate display. The screen also has support for Adobe RGB color technologies, Dolby Vision and HDR content, making this an ideal mobile phone for consumption of multimedia content.
We have a configuration of 4 rear cameras, including a 3D Time of Flight sensor and an ultra-angular lens with a high resolution of 48MP. Additionally, Sharp Aquos R5G is able to shoot videos in 8K, with image stabilization by hardware and software.
In terms of sound, we have Hi-Res Audio certification and Dolby Atmos technology. The phone also comes equipped with a 3.5mm jack, something that is not very common in mobile phones today.
If it leaves Japan, the Sharp Aquos R5G could be a success
This device has specifications that easily rival the Galaxy S20 or the upcoming Huawei P40. However, it is very likely that the Sharp Aquos R5G will be sold only in Japan. Otherwise, the phone has everything to be successful in international markets.
