A team of Japanese programmers called Wildman, is developing Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record. This game will bring together several stages of the original games and bring them together in one adventure, with a virtual reality component.
The same team developed The Gunner of Dragoon, an unofficial version, but inspired by the original Panzer Dragoon. It is assumed that this game was a test to see if it was feasible to create a virtual reality game and test the flight and shooting mechanics in the game.
Unfortunately, Wildman has yet to release official dates or images for the Panzer Dragoon: Voyage Record. Either way, fans of the saga can be happy that Panzer Dragoon hasn’t completely “died”. Even Nintendo wanted to bet on the franchise.
Panzer Dragoon is also on its way to Nintendo Switch
Announced during E3 2019, Panzer Dragoon: Remake is scheduled for release on the Nintendo Switch console. Supposedly, there will also be a version for the PC and even Google Stadia, still without concrete dates.
Regarding the Nintendo Switch version, it should have been presented in March. However, your MegaPixel Studio, probably decided to take advantage of the wave of game development delays and wait a little longer before launching.
