Here comes a new generation of Android tablets to keep up with the new Galaxy S9

Already here we have seen all about the new tablet Huawei MediaPad M5, device that will be presented by the Chinese manufacturer in the MWC 2018. Now, confirms the existence of a rival of Samsung. It's called SM-T835 (model number) and, given that same number, should be known as Samsung Galaxy Tab S4.

Last year, at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2017, the Galaxy Tab S3 with model number SM-T825 would be introduced. Now, just look at the new model SM-T835 to know that this will be the next generation of South Korean tablets. They will arrive to face their Chinese rival who will present these Huawei MediaPad M5.

Now, after we have already advanced first hand the existence of this same tablet from Samsung, the Canaries would sing again. New "drops" of information or leaks would be advanced by the publication Gizmochina. They bring us a new result of the tests performed at GFXBench, referring here to the LTE version of this Samsung Galaxy Tab S4.

Although the tablet market is not at all the one with the most excitement or public interest, the major builders continue to launch new bets. Well, if Huawei is going to launch a new generation of products, Samsung won't be left behind, and vice versa.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4, new tablet will stand up to the Huawei MediaPad M5

Based on the data revealed by the testing platform, GFXBench, we will then have an Android tablet with a 10.5 inch screen. It will, of course, have a Super AMOLED display made by South Korea itself. Its resolution will be 2560 x 1600 pixels. Inside we will have a Snapdragon processor (made by Qualcomm) with eight processing cores (octa-core). It will reach maximum frequencies of 2.3Ghz. It will feature the Adreno 540 graphics. Now, it will be an extremely powerful tablet using the Snapdragon 835 processor.

Huawei MediaPad Line will have news on MWC 2018

Continuing with the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 specifications, the device will feature a total of 64GB of internal storage. Space that can be expanded with a microSD memory card. It will also have 4GB of RAM to handle the multi tasking (multitasking) and ensure a fluid experience.

At its rear we will have a 12MP main camera while at the front we will have an 8MP camera. Its operating system will be Android Oreo 8.0 and will of course feature Samsung Experience 9.0, the name of the brand's interface (mask). It will be a high end device. Huawei's offers should be cheaper.

Lastly, we expect this Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 to have "only" Wi-Fi connectivity and not LTE. It is rumored to feature AKG-enhanced speakers, now part of Samsung itself. You can also count on new accessories like an S-Pen and a new keyboard.
