With wireless charging increasingly present on the market, Samsung is preparing a new option for those who take advantage of this technology. For this, the South Korean is developing the Wireless Charge Pad Trio.
This new charging base was recently revealed by the renowned Evan Blass. More than that, it reveals the first image of the next wireless charger from Samsung.
Wireless Charge Pad Trio has clear AirPower inspirations
As the gadget’s name suggests, the Wireless Charge Pad Trio is designed to charge three devices. Therefore, this will be the only charging base you will need to charge your Galaxy smartphone, Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Watch.
For those who might doubt this, Samsung has placed symbols alluding to these products at the bottom of the Wireless Charge Pad Trio. Therefore, on the left will be the compartment for charging the smartphone and earbuds, while your smartwatch should be recharged on the right.
The image shared by Evan Blass also clarifies that this charging base will be connected via a USB-C port. It is not yet known what its voltage will be, but for the number of devices supported, it should not be small.
Everything indicates that this Wireless Charge Pad Trio allows the charging of the three products simultaneously. Hopefully Samsung has managed to overcome the heating problems that led to the AirPower being canceled.
Price and release still unknown
The information shared by Evan Blass is based on the design of Samsung’s new wireless charger. However, the South Korean will tell us more about the Galaxy Z Fold 2 on September 1 and it is possible that she will also take the opportunity to reveal the Wireless Charge Pad Trio.
As for prices, don’t expect this gadget to cost less than € 100. This is because the Samsung Charge Pad Duo was launched with this value and can only charge two devices at the same time.
