We are only a few days away from the official presentation of the much-talked about Samsung Galaxy Z Flip, which will be the second foldable smartphone from the manufacturer.
Destined to be the direct rival of Motorola Razr 2019, a new video hands-on (and photos) end up confirming a small detail that will definitely make many users sad.
As you can see, the screen will show a very visible mark on the section that folds when it is closed. While this is an understandable side effect, many users expected Samsung to be able to reduce its impact on smartphone usage.
Design of the Galaxy Z Flip no longer has any secrets!
If there were already few doubts about the design of the brand’s new folding smartphone, this new information confirmed all the details.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip will arrive with an extremely “stretched” screen when opened, featuring a 22: 9 aspect ratio. When closed, the user will have at his disposal a small screen that will only serve to view some basic notifications and the clock.
In this video, the presence of a double rear camera on its rear panel is confirmed once again. However, the question remains whether or not to use these cameras when the smartphone is closed.
Alleged Samsung Galaxy Z Flip specifications
- 6.7 “inch Dynamic AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor
- 8GB RAM
- 256GB internal memory
- Dual rear camera: 12MP (wide) + 12MP (ultrawide)
- 10 megapixel front camera
- Side fingerprint reader
- 3,300mAh battery with support for fast charging at 15W (wireless at 9W)
- Android 10, OneUI 2.0
Even though it equipped the Snapdragon 855+ processor launched last year, it still manages to guarantee high performance performance, certainly superior to that of the Motorola Razr 2019.
Certainly, fans of the brand would like to see better integrated cameras, but the 12MP duo should be more than capable of guaranteeing satisfactory results.
Regarding its screen, several rumors claim that Samsung chose to use an extremely thin layer of glass instead of the plastic present in the Galaxy Fold.
We will need to wait for the typical resistance tests to be carried out, but everything indicates that the Galaxy Z Flip is stronger than the brand’s first foldable smartphone.
With a price of around € 1,400, this continues to be considerably expensive, but much more affordable than the Galaxy Fold that costs € 2,050.
