The Samsung Galaxy S7 and its S7 edge version are two of the best smartphones you can buy today. We don't need to be geeks to know that. Especially now that its price has gone down, its specifications, build quality and overall experience are still great. Both devices are now getting a new update from their Android operating system.

This update debuted in the North American market. Indeed, as the publication goes on theanderidsoul, AT&T wanted to lead by example and was the first to release the update. This is a new system software (firmware) package with several security fixes and numerous enhancements for both high-end devices.
Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 edge get Android update
Indeed, the news package will arrive via OTA (over the air) so you will have to do nothing but wait patiently for your arrival. Once updated, the Samsung Galaxy S7 and its S7 edge version will support the Samsung Galaxy S7 Mobile Hotspot APN, among other functions.
Note that this new firmware build (system software) can be identified by its build number. In fact, be aware of the build NRD90M.G930AUCU4BQK2 for the Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone.
For the S6 edge variant, be aware of the build NRD90M.G935AUCU4BQK2. Both devices also feature the November 2017 security package as part of this update. However Google has already made the patch December but this is not yet available.
The upgrade for each of these devices weighs around 356MB and 399MB respectively. Inside we also have improvements to the quality of phone calls, promising to improve voice clarity.
We also have improvements in network signal reception, among others. Users of this US carrier will even be able to benefit from fixes for AirWatch, a feature for the business sector.
As always, make sure you are connected to a Wi-Fi network before downloading the news. This will not overload your data plan. What's more, remember to charge your smartphone with at least 50% of the battery before you start installing news.
