Nobody really knows yet what the next top of the range Samsung will be called. Some bet on Galaxy S21, while others go for Galaxy S30. What is certain is that these models are already starting to give a talk.
One of the points of great interest in these models will be the charging speeds of your batteries. According to the Chinese entity 3C, these will be well below what fans want.
Alleged Samsung Galaxy S21 certified with 25W fast charging
The Chinese entity 3C recently certified a device with the code name SM-G991. Considering the usual code names assigned by the South Korean, everything points to this model being the Samsung Galaxy S21 (S30).
In any case, the truth is that the certified model comes with a fast charging of 25W. A speed that is well below the 65W that the recently presented OnePlus 8T offers.
This data is even more curious when previous rumors indicated that Samsung’s next tops could bring 65W of loading speed. A value that can be used only for the Ultra model.
Samsung has already done something similar this year. The Samsung Galaxy S20 comes with fast charging of 25W, while the S20 Ultra offers a charging speed of 45W.
Samsung will maintain the capacity of its cells
Something that 3C has also revealed to us was the nominal battery capacity of the next members of the Galaxy S line. According to the regulator, the Samsung Galaxy S21 will come with a 4000mAh battery, while the Ultra model will jump to 5000mAh.
These are the same values that we can find in the corresponding models of the Galaxy S20 line. Therefore, any improvements in equipment autonomy will have to come from a more efficient processor or from software optimization.
