Samsung has a habit of being a kind of ‘Swiss watch’ when it comes to its top-of-the-range releases. Not surprisingly, we have recently had rumors that left little doubt as to when the Galaxy S20 (formerly known as Galaxy S11) would be released.
According to a promotional video that appeared online, the one that Unpacked Event’s nickname will be held at February 11. The information still needs official confirmation of the brand, but the teaser It’s quite convincing.
The truth is that the video does not directly mention which products will be launched on that day. However, we see the word ‘Galaxy’, the two ‘a’ being replaced by two squares.
Galaxy Fold 2 will be released the same day
According to the suspicion raised by Max Weinbach of the XDA Developers forum, the first square is a reference to the camera boss of the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The second seems to be a reference to the Galaxy Fold 2.
It is recalled that rumors point to Samsung launching three models of the S line this day: Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra. However, the big highlight may be what should be called Galaxy Fold 2, a folding smartphone in shell format.
At this moment, Samsung only has to officially confirm this information, as well as the venue of the event. Just over a month from this event, these are two of the most anticipated devices of the moment.
