The Galaxy S11 should hit the market only in February / March next year. However, by this distance rumors are beginning to emerge with the details of Samsung's upcoming flagships.
Samsung has recently developed its 5x optical zoom sensor. As the Elec website advances, the Galaxy S11 can arrive with this module and with the same 108 megapixel configuration present as the Xiaomi Mi MIX Alpha.
The channel Samsung Electro Mechanics has a video where it shows this sensor in action. As noted, the module has a thickness of only 5mm, which means that it will not protrude very far from the back of a device.
It also features OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), which will be well appreciated by consumers. Although we are just talking about rumors, there is a good chance that Samsung will make this bet.
Judging by the numbers, this will be the same sensor present in the already featured Mi MIX Alpha. This means that it will not be the Galaxy S11 to debut it in the market. However, the end results on a Samsung machine may be even better.
Megapixels are not synonymous with quality
For now we should look at these rumors with some reluctance. The number of megapixels is not synonymous with quality but resolution. It remains to be seen if Samsung will embark on this 'war' in its next tops.
