Fold Galaxy 2 will not only surprise with this design

The 'shell' design will certainly make the smartphone much more practical for everyday use, but that won't be its only highlight.

According to the same source, Samsung plans to use a 108MP camera and a sensor capable of achieving up to 5x optical zoom. If confirmed, it could easily become the most popular folding smartphone ever, especially considering that it should come at a much more affordable price.

As for the direct comparison with Motorola's current offering, Samsung will "destroy" the Razr 2019 in the photographic segment. Motorola's folding smartphone features a single 16MP rear camera.

Design confirmed by the manufacturer itself

At the end of last month, Samsung itself confirmed the bet on the new 'shell' design. The brand has posted a video on YouTube that demonstrates how the new engine will work, confirming the similarities with the Motorola Razr 2019.

In terms of utility to be used as a daily smartphone, there is no doubt that this approach will be much more practical than the current Galaxy Fold. In addition, it should be able to offer a much higher level of "crash resistance".

Finally, several rumors suggest that it will reach markets with a price below € 900. If confirmed, this could be one of the first folding smartphones to be launched at an "acceptable" price for the masses.
