The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A90 has passed Bluetooth SIG certification. The funny thing is that two variants of the phone have been certified, indicating that the 5G version of the Galaxy A90 should come out or be revealed at the same time as the normal.
Galaxy A90 specifications expected so far
- Infinity-U Super AMOLED FHD + Display
- Snapdragon 855 Processor
- 6GB Ram
- 48 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP Triple Rear Camera
- 4,400 mAh battery
- Bluetooth 5.0
Should these specifications come true, the Samsung Galaxy A90's 5G version should have a slight megapixel boost in the camera but not much more. So far no release dates are known for either version.
With the Snapdragon 855 processor, the Galaxy A90 can be considered a high end. This would be the most powerful mobile phone in the A range but how much will it be confusing to decide between a Galaxy A90 or a Galaxy S10e for example?
After all, pop-up camera or not?
The deciding factor may well be its pop-up camera, rumored by industry leakers due to nearly frameless mobile phone images. However, according to Steve McFly of OnLeaks, the Galaxy A90 will not have any type of pop-up or rotary camera.
However, we know how volatile the world of technology is. If there is no pop-up camera, Samsung might have to have some 'under sleeve' surprise to make the Galaxy A90 an interesting purchase.
