After many rumors, Samsung finally introduced the Samsung Galaxy A01 Core. This is a low-cost device for those who just want to have the basics, and it was launched in Indonesia for 65 €.

The great highlight of this equipment is the fact that it has Android Go. This is the pure operating system developed by Google for low-cost terminals. Another interesting detail is the fact that it has a compact size – 5.3 inches.

Do not expect “firepower” on this equipment. Its processor is the Mediatek MT6739, from 2017. This is combined with 1GB of RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.

The screen is PLS LCD and has HD + resolution, with pronounced margins at the top and bottom. At the front you can count on a 5MP camera and at the rear an 8MP camera supported by an LED flash.

The Galaxy A01 Core battery is 3000mAh, and it keeps the 3.5mm port for headphones that you won't find in some much more expensive equipment. It allows you to place two SIM cards, and it is built in a plastic that looks robust.

This will not be an equipment for any user. It is only for those who want to perform basic tasks, or have equipment for any emergency. And for around 65 €, you can't ask for much more. For now there is no indication whether it will be released in UK.
